E.A. Buck is a fast-growing financial services company with dual headquarters in Denver and Honolulu. We’re looking for a Senior Data Engineer to help shape the future of our enterprise data systems. You’ll play a key role in developing and maintaining scalable data pipelines, integrating multiple sources into a unified, secure, and efficient analytics platform that supports company-wide decision-making.

This is a full-time, in-office position based in our Denver Tech Center (DTC) office.

NOTE: Only people who are currently living in Denver will be considered for this role.

Salary / Benefits Package:

  • Base salary range: $100,000 – $130,000, based on experience

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain scalable data pipelines and integrations from Salesforce, Excel, and other data sources.
  • Develop and optimize data models and warehouse structures to support analytics and reporting.
  • Ensure data quality, consistency, and integrity across all systems.
  • Implement and maintain data governance and security frameworks (including RBAC, SSO, and encryption controls).
  • Monitor and optimize system performance and resource usage for scalability and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with analytics, finance, and operations teams to deliver actionable insights.
  • Stay current with cloud technologies, data engineering tools, and best practices.

Job Requirements:

  • 3+ years of professional experience in data engineering or a related field.
  • Advanced SQL and Python proficiency.
  • Experience with modern cloud data platforms (Snowflake preferred; AWS, Azure, or GCP also accepted).
  • Familiarity with tools like DBT, Fivetran, Airflow, or similar ETL/ELT frameworks.
  • Understanding of data governance, access controls, and compliance in financial services (SEC, FINRA, SOC 2).
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and collaboration skills.
